I can't wait for a Walmart to come to Fort Mill. that means jobs for all of the kids in the area along with jobs for Adults too!!!  I lived in an area where there was a ton of controversary over a new Walmart and the headaches that come with it, but Walmart listened to concerns that people had and worked with the city to handle them.  Now all of the people that opposed it, shop there.  As for the Regent Park Subdivision and the bellyaching done by the pres of the HOA, Walmart does not have to talk to the people in the community before they buy the land and decide to build.  Unfortunately, that is the way it is.  So, here we go, people upset, meetings will take place, the arguin will begin, but in the end, you will have a place close by to go buy that last minute piece of posted board for that project your kid forgot to tell you about, or a household item you need immediately without having to drive far.  Right now it is more than 5 miles from Regent Park to the Tega Cay Walmart, think about the gas you will save???
